USD 10 million financing of a fertiliser manufacturing plant

Taking a lead role in the financing, in excess of USD 10 million, of a major fertiliser manufacturing plant in Kenya, going well beyond document review to the architecture of the transaction: structuring the corporate borrowing and advising on the interrelationship between the borrower, the lenders and the secured parties; undertaking due diligence; structuring and documenting the security package; preparing, reviewing and registering the Charges, Debentures, Deeds of Subordination of Debt, security over receivables and Negative Pledges; and seeing the securities through to final perfection and completion.
