USD 50 million claim against the Government of South Sudan

Successfully representing the Attorney General of South Sudan before the High Court of Kenya, the Court of Appeal of Kenya and the EACJ in a claim by a private party valued in excess of USD 50 million, overturning a consent judgment and setting aside orders of attachment of the Government of South Sudan’s funds in Kenyan banks and effectively lifting the restrictions on the concerned bank accounts of the Government of South Sudan.
